Have you ever imagined building a digital product by simply putting on your headphones and talking to your computer? What if, even when you’re out of ideas, an Artificial Intelligence friend could provide you with some brilliant ones? While it may sound like science fiction, technology is rapidly advancing towards this reality.
Today, I put ChatGPT’s capabilities to the test by using it to write automation code for my daily work tasks. Here are the three main results I observed:
- ChatGPT excels at basic tasks. Simple exercises and tasks with a small number of steps can be easily solved. This can be particularly beneficial for someone new to programming.
- ChatGPT was able to update the Python code I provided very well. The code involved entering a website and taking a screenshot, which can be considered a medium-level task.
- When I tried to go further and do autofill and web scraping, ChatGPT struggled to keep up.
In conclusion, while AI has come a long way, it still needs more time and development before it can fully build an online product on its own. Thank you for reading.
